Objective of the measure

Spain and Romania have implemented a new ITU code to optimise international communications.

✔ Freight Transport Requirements

The extension of the regulation means that all factors involved in road freight transport in Romania will have to adapt and comply with the requirements of the RO e-Transport system.

Registering each consignment and obtaining an ITU code aims at greater transparency.

✔ Strengthening Bilateral Relations

Improved connectivity will strengthen trade and cultural relations between the two countries.
Opens up new opportunities for commercial exchange.

✔ International Support

The measure is supported by the International Telecommunications Union (ITU).
