- The transport contract is subject to the CMR international transport agreement and national LOTT and in both cases also to the General Conditions of Road Transport of Ares Barcelona.
- Availability of vehicle/service to be confirmed by operations upon firm booking.
- Offer linked to the above data; in case of variations the quotation will be modified.
- Validity of the offer 7 days
- Unless otherwise stated, the goods will be priced as removable material.
- Loading/unloading means are not included. Ares Barcelona S.L.U. will not be held responsible for the costs of loading or unloading contracted out to third parties, bearing in mind that during the course of the transport, external causes may occur that delay or bring forward the planned loading or unloading dates/hours.
- This price does not include hours of delay that may be caused in loading and unloading, or stoppages.
- The liability of Ares Barcelona SLU for damages, losses, delays during the execution of the transport will be governed by the national and international regulations imperatively applicable to the contracted route and the mode(s) of transport used. Ares Barcelona S.L.U. shall benefit from the limitation of liability established by the aforementioned applicable transport regulations.
- Customs clearance: services provided by Ares Barcelona S.L.U. always in the name and on behalf of the Client (direct representation).
- In no case shall the liability of Ares Barcelona S.L.U. for the contracted services exceed the equivalent of the remuneration received by Ares Barcelona S.L.U. for said services.
- Method of payment: according to the agreement signed with Ares Barcelona SLU. In the absence of such an agreement, the form of payment will be considered as “cash”. Receiving payment before delivery of the material and in the event of non-compliance, the extra costs incurred will be invoiced.
- In relation to storage and handling services, the liability of Ares Barcelona S.L.U. for loss or damage to goods shall be limited to one third of the IPREM per day for each kilogram of gross weight of damaged goods.
Sea transport LCL – FCL
- Offer subject to availability of space and equipment with firm reservation.
- This service does not include insurance, unless expressly indicated.
- It is the exporter’s responsibility, the palletisation of their goods, therefore be aware of the ISPM-15 regulations in the destinations that require mandatoryfumigation . See the list below: https://www.ippc.int/en/countries/all/ispm15/
- The offer does not include 1% on the freight, in concept of bank debt.
- In case of FCL: We have 1 free hour of loading, from the 2nd hour on, we will charge 45 € x hour/fraction.
- In case of FCL: Maximum weight to load 23.000 Kgs, from this weight, two surcharges will be invoiced automatically.
- 1st. Surcharge of 25% on the amount of the National Collection.
- 2n. Surcharge on the International Freight, to be determined depending on the shipping company and destination.
- Unless otherwise indicated, the goods will be priced as removable. Offer linked to the data shown; in case of variation, the quotation will be modified.
- Cancellation of the booking: The shipping company reserves the right to charge a penalty which may vary depending on the origin/destination/container type/etc.
- In case of correction/modification of B/L after issue, a surcharge of 41,70 EUR x corrector is foreseen.
- The transit times offered are estimates. In no case is the arrival of the goods on the exact day guaranteed by the shipping company, subject to the variability of the maritime storm and changes in route by the shipping company-owner.
- In the case of IMO goods, the offer includes a maximum of 3 UN/Item, from the 4th onwards the corresponding surcharge will be charged.
- In the case of IMO cargo, the offer is subject to acceptance of IMO by the shipping line/port of destination.
- Offer subject to any GRI (General Rate Increase) that may be applied by the shipping line.

- In the event that third parties are contracted for loading or unloading, Ares shall not be held responsible for these costs, bearing in mind that during the course of the transport, external causes may occur that delay or bring forward the planned loading or unloading dates/times.
- Method of payment: according to the agreement signed with Ares Barcelona SLU. In the absence of such an agreement, the method of payment will be considered as “cash”. Payment will be received before delivery of the material and in the event of non-compliance, the extra costs incurred will be invoiced.
- The price does not include the lashing of the goods; if the use of slings, boards or safety airbags is required for their fastening, there will be an extra charge.
- Unless otherwise indicated, this offer is valid until the last day of this month. If the ship departs after this date, the offer must be readjusted to the next month’s freight rates, marked by the shipping company.
Air service
- Fare and space/availability to be confirmed by the airline with firm reservation.
- This service does not include insurance, unless expressly stated.
- In case of DGR (Dangerous Goods) the offer is subject to acceptance by the airline/terminal.
- Freight valid for general and remountable cargo, unless otherwise stated.
- Offer is subject to data shown; in case of variations the quotation will be automatically modified.
- In the event that third parties are contracted for loading or unloading, Ares shall not be liable for these costs, bearing in mind that during the course of the transport, external causes may occur that delay or bring forward the planned loading or unloading dates/times.
- In case of correction/modification of the AWB after its issue, a surcharge of 41,70 € per corrector is foreseen.
- Regarding the arrival date, we cannot confirm this until the time of the formal booking with the airline, as it is the airline that will assign the first available flight. Ares cannot accept penalties from the customer or third parties due to delays in the scheduled flights that are beyond its control (due to customs procedures or international connections of the airline, etc…).
- Method of payment: according to the agreement signed with Ares Barcelona SLU. In the absence of such an agreement, the method of payment will be considered as “cash”.
